Vane Run: The Beginning
Proprietor of the Caritas Inn
As a tiefling, Lorn was rejected and looked down upon for a majority of his early life. He set off to find a place where he was welcomed, or at least tolerated. Ending up in Vane Run by accident he realized that people didn’t really notice his scales or his horns because they saw so many different kinds of people come through town. He decided to set up an inn so that he could make sure that all shapes, sizes, colors, and races of people would have a safe and tolerant environment in which to get a good pint of ale and a good night’s rest. Lorn does not tolerate fighting because of discrimination or bad-mouthing based on race/color/denomination/gender etc. in his establishment (even though the occasional bar brawl does break out for a multitude of other reasons). The Caritas Inn is known throughout the country as one of the most accepting inns and is therefore often very crowded.
